Dear Industry Colleagues,
We are pleased and excited to announce our highly anticipated SHA Best Department Awards for 2024. It fills us with great excitement to invite you all back to compete once again for these prestigious awards; as a form of encouragement to your teams and to recognise the best in our industry.
There is a revamp to the competition and the main changes are:
– We have included a new Award that recognises Executive Floor Services. This will replace Best Reservations Department Award due to the low number of participating hotels and changing structure of Reservations Department in hotels. The new category is ‘Best Executive Club Floor Department Award’.
– The Best Department Award will now be given to the top 3 highest score for each category instead of only the top highest scorer. If the category has 5 or less participating hotels, than only the highest score will receive the award.
The mystery shopping exercises will be executed between 15 Aug to 31 Oct 2024 for all participating hotels. To register for the competition, please complete the Registration Form via the e-mail already sent out from Willie Ong (MHAS) Willie.Ong@momentushotels.com or SHA Secretariat secretariat@sha.org.sg and submit before 7 Aug 2024. Upon receipt of your registration, we will provide you with further details on the competition and how you could access the mystery shopper’s report online.

The mystery shopping exercise will begin from 15 Aug 2024 to 31 Oct 2024.
The audit reports, collated by Peak Hospitality Solutions, will be ready for review by the participating hotels at the end of the exercise.
For each award category, the participating hotel with the highest points shall be declared the winner.
